Impacts of macOS Tahoe and iOS 26 on MyNetWorth and iNetWorth

macOS Tahoe and iOS 26 were published on September 15th. Please do not upgrade your iPhone to iOS 26 immediately. iOS 26 has altered the format of some elements within Toolbars. I use the Toolbars in iNetWorth to display account names and balances in the Accounts View and payee names and balances in the Payees View, primarily to make best use of the iPhone’s limited screen area. The new format can result in balances being truncated in both of these Views in Portrait Mode on an iPhone. My work on a fix is well under way but I will have to carry out some testing before I can submit a new, fully iOS 26 compatible, version of iNetWorth for review and publishing on the App Store; this will take a couple of days or so.

Please note that the current version of MyNetWorth still works as intended under macOS Tahoe and the current version of iNetWorth still works as intended under iOS 26 on an iPad (as does the Mac Catalyst version on Macs and MacBooks).

Thank you, iPhone users, for your patience. If you have already upgraded to iOS 26, please accept my apologies, whilst noting that the underlying functionality of iNetWorth is unaffected and that balances are not truncated in Landscape Mode in either the Accounts View or the Payees View. Mind you, every cloud has a silver lining; I can now remove some redundant back arrows in the iNetWorth top level views (Accounts, Payees, Schedule, Balances and More) on iPhones, which can cause users to close transaction files by mistake.
