New Versions of MyNetWorth (4.0), iNetWorth (4.0) and MyNetWorth for Windows (4.0.102) Published

New versions of MyNetWorth, iNetWorth and MyNetWorth for Windows have been published on the Mac App Store, the App Store and the Microsoft Store. The main new feature is the capability to search for transactions in the Transactions Tables displayed in the Accounts, Payees and Schedule Views, which is a significant upgrade as it could save you both time and effort in that it allows you to find transactions that you need to edit, duplicate, delete, etc. rapidly.

Search/Cancel Search buttons have been added to the Accounts and Payees Detail Views above the Transaction tables, next to the Hide Cleared/Show All button in MyNetWorth and next to the Import button in MyNetWorth for Windows. In the Schedule View the new Search/Cancel Search button can be found to right of the Edit Schedule Transaction Buttons in both MyNetWorth and MyNetWorth for Windows.

In iNetWorth, where available screen space is limited, the new Search function is accessed by tapping on an Ellipsis (3 dots in a circle) Button above the Transaction Table to reveal the following menus.

In Accounts Views transactions are searched by Payee name, Description and Other Account name; in Payees Views transactions are searched by Description, From Account name and To Account name; in Schedule Views transactions are searched by Payee name, Description, From Account name and To Account name. The new Search function is probably most useful in the Accounts View, where, rather than having to swap to the Payees View, or select another account, to find an existing transaction to duplicate (or schedule), you can now simply search for it in place.
